The Sprinkle Grandparents were able to come visit Easter Saturday, so we did an egg hunt. J got into it without to much persuasion. He saw those bright colored eggs and went straight for them.

He already likes to put stuff into bags and boxes. The trick was getting to the eggs before sister spotted them.
E just needed to know what an egg hunt was. After we told her there were eggs outside and that she needed to find them to put in her basket, she was good to go.
After we got back inside, she found out that they had stuff in them. She liked the eggs with pretzel m&m's, she didn't care so much about the eggs with stickers in them. She dumped the stickers out on to the floor in a pile, then went searching her basket for eggs that made noise (m&m's).
J liked the m&m's too. It didn't take him long either to figure out that the noisy eggs were the ones with m&m's in them.
This was a fun game that they came up with. It was put all the eggs into the wagon. Now put all the eggs into the bag. Now do it again. The next day they decided to add a step in the game where they throw them all over the floor...sometimes they wouldn't pick them up for a couple of hours.
On Sunday, we dyed eggs. E had lots of fun coloring on the eggs and putting them into the dye. J was able to sit at the table with us. He held a crayon and a dipper, but that was about the extent for him.
